There can be many male problems (40 to 50% in our country) which may result in infertility like low sperm count and semen quality. Here we will discuss women health disorders causing infertility, necessary tests, health measures and medicine.

Most cases of female infertility are caused by problems with ovulation. Without ovulation, there are no eggs to be fertilized. Some signs that a woman is not ovulating normally include irregular or absent menstrual periods.

Ovulation problems are often caused by polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). PCOS is a hormone imbalance problem which can interfere with normal ovulation. PCOS is the most common cause of female infertility.

Primary ovarian insufficiency (POI) is another cause of ovulation problems. POI occurs when a woman’s ovaries stop working normally before she is 40. POI is not the same as early menopause.

Less common causes of fertility problems in women include:
Blocked Fallopian tubes due to pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, or surgery for an ectopic pregnancy.
Physical problems with the uterus
Uterine fibroids , which are non-cancerous clumps of tissue and muscle on the walls of the uterus.

Many things can change a woman’s ability to have a baby. These include:

age
stress
poor diet
athletic training
over or underweight
smoking
excess alcohol use
sexually transmitted infections (STI’s)
health problems that cause hormonal changes, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome and primary ovarian insufficiency.

Age is a growing cause of fertility problems. About one-third of couples in which the woman is over 35 have fertility problems.

Aging decreases a woman’s chances of having a baby in the following ways:

Her ovaries become less able to release eggs.
She has a smaller number of eggs left.
Her eggs are not as healthy.
She is more likely to have health conditions that can cause fertility problems.
She is more likely to have a miscarriage.

Some health problems also increase the risk of infertility. So, women should talk to their doctors if they have:

Irregular periods or no menstrual periods
Very painful periods
Endometriosis
Pelvic inflammatory disease
More than one miscarriage

Along with a physical exam a physician will also ask for both partners’ health and sexual histories. Sometimes this can find the problem. However, most of the time, there is a need to do more tests.

In men, initially semen is analyzed. In women, the first step is to find out if she is ovulating each month. There are a few ways to do this. A woman can track her ovulation at home by:

Writing down changes in her morning body temperature for several months
Writing down how her cervical mucus looks for several months
Using a home ovulation test kit (available at drug or grocery stores)
Physician can also check ovulation with blood tests. Or they can do an ultrasound of the ovaries. If ovulation is normal, there are other fertility tests available.

Some common tests of fertility in women include:

Hysterosalpingography (HIS-tur-oh-sal-ping-GOGH-ru-fee): This is an X-ray of the uterus and Fallopian tubes.
Laparoscopy (lap-uh-ROS-kuh-pee): A minor surgery to see inside the abdomen.

Finding the cause of infertility can be a long and emotional process. It may take time to complete all the needed tests. So don’t worry if the problem is not found right away.

Nature has gifted mankind with lots of blessings. Here I am writing a time tested  herbal remedy for my respected sisters and daughters who are suffering from this painful situation.

Propolis 20g, Vitex negudo(sanbhalo seeds) 10g, Acacia farnisiona( goond kikar) 5g, Carrot seeds 5g, Quercur infectoria (mazo fruit) 5g, Areca catechu (supari) 5g

Preparation and use: Make powder of all herbs and take one teaspoon twice a day with lukewarm water after mixing a teaspoon of honey.

Things to remember:

Always be hopeful from blessings of Al mighty Allah.
Always be happy.
Go for a walk daily.
Have a bath daily.
Don’t over eat. Take low fat, no fried & no sour diet.
Take 8 to 12 glasses of water daily.
Increase the use of fresh vegs, fruits, milk and yogurt in your diet.
Decrease the use of tea, coffee, rice, cold drinks, spicy food and brylor chicken.

For weight loss success, we have to find what will work for us and our lifestyle. We have to choose a program we can stick with, because once you stop practising any diet or exercise program the weight creeps back on.

Tip one – We need to find a combination of diet, exercise and nutrition that is right for us as individuals. The foods have to be ones we enjoy. We shouldn’t have to give up all our favorite foods to be slender. The exercises should be ones we enjoy or at least can tolerate for the long run. There has to be enough variety to fit all the situations in our lives. We need to lose weight for the right reasons to be able to stick with any program. We should lose weight to be healthier, not to be model thin. We should set realistic goals for weight loss and how long it may take.

Tip two – Sad to say, there is no miracle weight loss product or diet that will take off all the weight we want, and keep it off forever, without exercise and good nutrition being part of the plan.

Starving ourselves is not effective or safe for our health. Starving ourselves causes us to lose muscle not fat. When we lose muscle we will also have slowing of our metabolism. We will be less able to burn fat. Starving doesn’t work. There are no pills or powders that make us instantly slim and weird diets don’t work for the long run. Face it-the only way to lose weight is to study all our options and pick the diet, nutrition plan and exercise program that we can live with for the rest of our lives and stick with it.

Tip three – We need to have a little determination and self discipline to have success. Once we are on our chosen program for weight loss, there are a few universal tips to help us succeed.

Drink lots of water. Avoid diet soda pop. Don’t eat anything after 7 or 8pm. Limit consumption of alcoholic beverages. Limit serving sizes and use a smaller plate or bowl, to make it look more generous. Make sure your exercise program has both cardiovascular and strength exercises in it.

To be successful you need to approach weight loss with a common sense approach by not cutting out all favourite foods, start on a rigorous exercise program, The success of healthy weight loss is to start off slow and build up which means that you start exercising slowly and build up, you start to reduce your favourite food and to replace with healthy food. That is the key to lose weight.

As the parent of a child who is autistic you are probably looking for the best treatments for your child. Autism is incredibly complicated and even the experts in this field disagree about how best to treat it. Every case of autism is a little different, so you really have to find the right treatment for each individual based on his or her needs. In this article we will talk about some of the autism treatments that are effective.

Sensory Integration Therapy is one remedy for autism, based on the tribulations that autistic individuals go through when it comes to processing the universe via their senses. Most autistic individuals are quite sensitive to light, sound and also tastes, smells and touch. This makes it especially hard for them to live normally in a world that often overwhelms or frightens them. The mission of sensory integration therapy is to slowly get the individual to feel more comfortable handling usual sensory piquancy. This needs to be approached in a means that doesn’t jeopardize them and won’t bother them, and is typically done in a playful method. There are a plethora of techniques for doing this, and can involve exposing them to light, a variety of sounds and playing with sand, water and other material items.

Music therapy is another form of medical care for autism that might prove to be vital in assisting people with this sickness.

This could comprise of introducing the autistic person to different kinds of music, singing, playing instrument or even dancing. As autistic people are extra sensitive to their environments, including sound, music therapy is a way to make them more comfortable. Some researchers think that certain tones can excite portions of the brain, which can aid autistic individuals in expanding their skills and feeling less endangered in the outside world. Music therapy should be customized for each patient as autistic individuals begin at a variety of levels of tolerance for sounds and human interaction. With this form of administration, the exposure is warmhearted in the beginning and moderately increased as the individuals comfort level gets higher.

For people with Asperger’s Syndrome, who are able to function fairly normally, certain types of treatment are possible that wouldn’t be for those with more severe types of autism. For people with Asperger’s Syndrome, who can function in a normal manner, specific kinds of treatment are probable that may not be for those that have more serious types of autism. For example, people with Asperger’s can often be helped by Cognitive Behavior Therapy, a way of training someone to develop more positive and helpful ways of behaving. In the case of autism, it can be helpful to learn new social skills and to learn how to act in a way that others do not think is strange. Therapy can get autistic people who function okay to understand how they should be acting in everyday instances. There are all sorts of treatments for autism and there are all sorts of arguments about which treatment is the most effective. The treatment methods discussed in this article have all been used successfully by parents and doctors but, when treating autism, it’s important that you take a person’s specific requirements into account when figuring out the right protocol. Autism effects each person differently and so do the treatments.

So they say, the first step to winning any battle is to know the enemy. The case against nasal allergy is no exemption; therefore, it will be beneficial to be familiarized with it. Nasal allergy is also medically known as allergic rhinitis. This is a condition in which the  membranes lining the inside surface of the nose swell up, following exposure to certain substances that trigger an allergic or hypersensitivity reaction. Common examples of these allergy-triggering substances (generally termed as allergens) include pollen, molds, dust, dust mites, cockroaches, animal fur and dander. You are probably suffering from a nasal allergy attack if you experience consecutive sneezing, you always have a need to blow your nose because of all the clear nasal secretions, you constantly feel your eyes water, and you feel that your eyes, ears, nose and throat always seem to feel itchy.

Types of Allergic Rhinitis

Allergic rhinitis can either be seasonal or perennial.

A case of a seasonal nasal allergy is considered if the symptoms of rhinitis occur during particular times of the year – like in summer when pollens are at their peak amounts, or during damp weather when molds easily multiply. Perennial rhinitis, on the other hand, as its name suggests, can happen at any given season for as long as there has been an exposure to the allergen.
Defensive Plan

There are several things to try in order for you not to suffer the inconvenience of having nasal allergy. The first one may seem unlikely but yes, it works! You see, just like any other case of allergy, the key defensive strategy is often to prevent exposure to the allergen. Surely there is wisdom behind this advice. However, in some cases, people are actually GRADUALLY exposed to the allergen until they don’t react “violently” against it anymore. It’s like getting the body used to the presence of the allergens to prevent “overreaction”. Remember, however that this desensitization technique is done under the supervision of a qualified health professional. Deliberately exposing yourself to the allergens could be potentially life threatening especially if your allergy is severe.

If desensitization doesn’t work, it is best to minimize exposure by doing the following measures: Stay indoors as much as possible or avoid walking through fields, gardening, lawn mowing, and any other similar activity if you are allergic to pollen. You may also benefit from the use of air conditioners and air purifiers. Stay away from the litter box, or better yet, don’t keep an animal as a pet if animal dander triggers your nasal allergy. Rid your household or workplace of items that attract dust such as stuffed toys, drapes and carpets. Replace pillowcases and mattresses every 2-3 weeks. Make nasal flushing or nasal irrigation a part of your hygiene routine to decontaminate your nose from trapped allergens even before they cause the expected manifestations.

If these defenses fail, it might be necessary to fight back. The most common medications prescribed for nasal allergy are anti-histamines and nasal corticosteroids. These medications can be taken by mouth or applied topically through nebulization or medicated irrigation. There are pharmaceutical companies, take for example, Sinus Dynamics, which specializes in manufacturing customized sinusitis and rhinitis medications in forms compatible for use with their line of nebulizers (like SinusAero) and medicated irrigators (like SinusActive).

People suffering from neck pain in Las Vegas commonly ask, “how do I stretch my neck?”. Most people in Las Vegas have neck pain, and that neck pain is usually in the back of the neck, and so that’s the area that they typically stretch. However, there are muscles all around our neck – on the front, on the side, and on the back – and it is very important to stretch all the muscles in the neck. The best way to do that is to sit in a chair where you can grab the edge of the chair. Grab the edge of the chair and just lean to the opposite side. The hand that is hold the chair is just holding your shoulder down. Lean to the opposite side and tilt your head to that side. This part of the stretch is going to stretch the middle muscles (the side muscles of the neck). While you’re in this position, look down and you’ll start feeling it in the back of your neck – which is probably where your pain is. Hold that for 20 seconds, and then look up (still leaning to the side and tilting your head to the side). That’s going to stretch the front muscles in your neck.

Hold each of those positions for about 20 seconds. 20 seconds on the side, 20 seconds looking down, and 20 seconds looking up. Do that on both sides. This will help you stretch your neck muscles very well and get rid of the neck pain Las Vegas residents usually have.

I have patients at our Las Vegas pain clinic tell me all the time, “oh, it hurts when I do this, but it hurts me all the time, that’s just normal…”. Well, it is NOT normal. Any type of pain in your body is an alarm – your body is telling you that there is something wrong. This is especially common in Las Vegas. In fact, in many desease processes, pain is the last symptom to show up, and often times, during the treatment, it’s the first one to go away. Pain is just an indicator that there’s a problem. The sooner you get treatment for the type of pain you’re suffering from, the sooner it will go away. The longer you wait, the longer it’s going to take to fix, and the longer you’ll be suffering with this problem. Any time you start to experience pain, go to your chiropractor and get it checked out. You’ll get better faster, and you’ll stay better longer.

If you go to a chiropractor’s office, they’ll perform an examination, take x-rays, and do everything they can to uncover the underlying condition. And then they’ll do physical treatments to correct that problem – they’ll work on your muscles, they’ll align your spine – they’ll do the necessary treatments to fix the problems at a Las Vegas pain clinic so your back pain or neck pain will go away and won’t come back.

Working in a Las Vegas chiropractic office, a question I get asked all the time is, “what is a good exercise for my low back?”. Now, after you’ve suffered a low-back injury, and have visited a Las Vegas chiropractic office, I don’t recommend doing exercises where you bend your back. It’s important to find chiropractic exercises where your back is able to be kept straight. The best exercise that I’ve found for that is called the plank exercise. This isn’t solely for the low-back, it’s also for the abdominals, and the entire core muscle area. I’m going to explain to you how to do this exercise.

Get down on your elbows and your toes. Get your elbows in line with your shoulders. Start on your knees, and then lift up your hips and hold yourself up on your toes. When you’re in this position you want to keep your head nice and straight, looking down towards your hands. Don’t look up, and don’t look down, that will cause too much stress on your neck. Another part of the exercise – don’t lift up your butt, or dip down because it will hurt your low-back. Just start on your knees, come up onto your toes, keep your body straight, and your head straight forward.

That’s how you do the plank exercise to strengthen your core muscles to stabilize your low-back and keep you from having this injury come back again in the future. With this chiropractic exercise, you want to be able to hold it as long as you can – work up to where you’re able to hold it for at least a minute, and that’s when you know that your core muscles are much stronger.

Drug Abuse Intervention Objective

The main objective of an intervention is to get the abuser to face the bare facts but in a non-confronting manner. The abuser needs to feel the seriousness of his choices but he also needs to see things in a clear and concise forum. The interventions are usually headed by a specialist who guides the conversation where it needs to go.

The fact is that a drug abuser is usually blind to the effects that he has on other people. He may use friends as a point of comparison and feel that his problems are much less than that of his fellow abusers. Drug abusers begin to make the wrong choices and their relationships with family and friends begin to fall apart. They start making choices that affect them financially and can even land them in a lot of trouble.

With the assistance of a well put together drug abuse intervention, the drug abuser is able to sit back and take a look at his addiction though his family and friends’ eyes.

The decision to hold a drug abuse intervention can be a painful one but it is less painful than watching a loved one being controlled by a substance without facing his own life reality. Many loved ones do not want to force their addicted member to lose control or feel as if they are being attacked but it is very important for the addict to see what he is doing to those close to him.

The intervention, if planned properly, will lead the addict out of the despair and onto the road of recovery. The intervention may feel like a failure in the beginning if the addict decides to refuse treatment but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and the drug abuser may decide to take the treatment later after the initial pain has worn off.

Intervention does break though; it just takes a little time for the drug addict to respond. Drug abusers are not always thinking properly and when they have time to digest what has just happened to them, they usually come around and seek out the care they need to quit and start on the road to recovery.

By performing a drug abuse intervention, the addict gets the assistance of an abuse counselor who is trained in this form of confrontation. Each individual requires a different approach and with the right help, the addict is well on his way to recovery.

Once the intervention is planned, the interventionist makes sure that complete treatment for the addict is all set up and ready to begin. An intervention is sometimes a way to get the drug abusers or alcoholics to open their eyes before they actually hit the bottom and destroy their lives completely. Drug abuse interventions are a real motivational tool to get drug addicts the help they need.
